Abstract

An electronic device and a method for determining the degree of conjunctival hyperemia by using the same are disclosed. The electronic device comprises: a camera; and a processor which acquires an image including an eye, captured by the camera, extracts one or more blood vessels included in the image, and determines the degree of conjunctival hyperemia on the basis of the sizes of the extracted one or more blood vessels.
