The water heater system comprises a water heater main machine, a hot water pipeline, a cold water pipeline and a circulating pipeline, wherein a water inlet end of the hot water pipeline is connected to a water outlet end of the water heater main machine; a water outlet end of the hot water pipeline is connected to a water consumption terminal; a water inlet end of the cold water pipeline is connected to a water inlet end of the water heater main machine; a water outlet end of the cold water pipeline is connected to the water consumption terminal; the circulating pipeline is connected between the hot water pipeline and the cold water pipeline; a constant-temperature unit is arranged in the water heater main machine; the constant-temperature unit comprises a constant-temperature cabin with a constant-temperature cavity and a pushing mechanism, wherein the constant-temperature cavity communicates with the waterinlet end of the hot water pipeline; and the pushing mechanism can apply pushing force to water in the constant-temperature cavity for pushing water in the constant-temperature cavity into the hot water pipeline. According to the water heater system disclosed by the invention, the pushing mechanism can push hot water in the hot water pipeline to accurately reach a water outlet point of the water outlet end of the hot water pipeline, so that excessive hot water is prevented from entering the cold water pipeline to heat the cold water pipeline to affect normal use of cold water.
