Embodiment Construction

[0070] A computer-implemented machine learning method utilizing a dataset of a scene including spatially reconfigurable objects is provided.

[0071] In particular, a first machine learning method is provided. A first method includes providing a dataset of virtual scenes. Data sets of virtual scenes belong to the first domain. The first method also includes providing a test dataset of real scenarios. The test dataset belongs to the second domain. The first method also includes determining a third domain. In terms of data distribution, the third domain is closer to the second domain than the first domain. The first method also includes learning a domain adaptive neural network based on the third domain. A domain-adaptive neural network is a neural network configured to infer spatially reconstructable objects in real scenes. Hereinafter, this first method may be referred to as a "domain adaptive learning method".

Abstract

The invention notably relates to a computer-implemented method of machine-learning. The method comprises providing a dataset of virtual scenes. The dataset of virtual scenes belongs to a first domain. The method further comprises providing a test dataset of real scenes. The test dataset belongs to a second domain. The method further comprises determining a third domain. The third domain is closerto the second domain than the first domain in terms of data distributions. The method further comprises learning a domain-adaptive neural network based on the third domain. The domain-adaptive neuralnetwork is a neural network configured for inference of spatially reconfigurable objects in a real scene. Such a method constitutes an improved method of machine learning with a dataset of scenes comprising spatially reconfigurable objects.

Description

technical field [0001] The present disclosure relates to the field of computer programs and systems, and more particularly to methods, systems and programs for machine learning with datasets of scenes including spatially reconfigurable objects. Background technique [0002] Many systems and programs for the design, engineering and manufacture of objects are available on the market. CAD is an acronym for Computer Aided Design, as it relates to software solutions for designing objects. CAE is an acronym for Computer Aided Engineering, as it relates to software solutions for simulating the physical behavior of future products. CAM is an acronym for Computer Aided Manufacturing, as it relates to software solutions for defining manufacturing processes and operations. In this CAD system, GUI plays an important role in technical efficiency. These technologies may be embedded within a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system. PLM refers to a business strategy that helps compani...
