Problems solved by technology

Traditional silica optical fiber has a high Young's modulus (1-10GPa), which is extremely mismatched with biological tissue (1-10kPa), and may cause damage to the nerve tissue around the optical fiber after long-term implantation
More importantly, the poor biocompatibility between traditional optical fibers and tissues will cause severe tissue rejection

Embodiment

[0021] Such as figure 1 and figure 2 As shown, a hydrogel fiber-based dissolved oxygen monitoring system 100 of this embodiment includes: a light source 1 , a bandpass filter 2 , a hydrogel fiber 3 , a high-pass filter 4 and a photodetector 5 .

[0022] Light source 1 is an LED light source with a wavelength of 488nm.

[0023] A band-pass filter 2 is attached to the light source 1 for filtering out stray light, so as to obtain excitation light with the same wavelength, and the wavelength of the band-pass filter 2 is 488nm, and the channel width is 10nm.

[0024] One end of the hydrogel optical fiber 3 is connected to the bandpass filter 2, so that the excitation light after filtering out the stray light enters, and then used for dissolved oxygen sensing in the living body, and the hydrogel optical fiber 3 is a water filter containing a fluorescent indicator. Gel optical fiber, the fluorescent indicator is self-made doped with oxygen-sensitive fluorescent indicator, which in...

Abstract

The invention provides a dissolved oxygen monitoring system based on a hydrogel optical fiber. The system is used for monitoring the concentration of dissolved oxygen. The system comprises a light source; a band-pass optical filter which is attached to the light source and is used for filtering stray light to obtain exciting light with the same wavelength; the hydrogel optical fiber, wherein one end of the hydrogel optical fiber is connected with the band-pass optical filter, so that the exciting light after the stray light is filtered out enters the hydrogel optical fiber for sensing dissolved oxygen in a living body; a high-pass optical filter, wherein the high-pass optical filter is connected with the other end of the hydrogel optical fiber, so that the exciting light emitted from the hydrogel optical fiber passes through the high-pass optical filter to be filtered out; and a photoelectric detector, wherein the photoelectric detector is connected with the high-pass optical filter, so that residual light after the exciting light is filtered enters the photoelectric detector for detecting the intensity of a fluorescence signal, and the concentration of the dissolved oxygen is further monitored through the change of the intensity of the fluorescence signal. The hydrogel optical fiber is a hydrogel optical fiber containing a fluorescence indicator.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of dissolved oxygen monitoring systems, and in particular relates to a dissolved oxygen monitoring system based on hydrogel optical fibers. Background technique [0002] Oxygen is an important chemical species. For mammals, oxygen is the source of energy needed to maintain their normal physiology. In 2019, scientists from the United States and the United Kingdom won the Nobel Prize in Medicine for revealing the mechanism of "how organisms perceive oxygen at the molecular level". The detection of oxygen levels in living cells and tissues is critical for the diagnosis of cancer, understanding cellular function and the etiology of disease. [0003] Methods for measuring oxygen in biological tissues, such as electrochemical methods and hemoglobin light absorption methods, have disadvantages such as low sensitivity and poor time resolution. In 1985, Vanderkooi et al. developed an oxygen probe molecule based on...
