The embodiment of the invention discloses a semantic data storage and retrieval method and device based on a maximum regional grid, relates to the technical field of databases, and can improve semantic-based query efficiency. The method comprises the steps of extracting semantic entities from semantic data to be processed, and performing data encoding on the semantic entities to obtain a semanticgraph; carrying out maximum grid search mining by utilizing the obtained semantic graph, obtaining a set of entity vertexes containing a maximum connected grid, and obtaining an index of the maximum connected grid according to the set; performing clustering processing on the entity vertexes in the maximum area grid, wherein the clustering result comprises an inter-cluster relation table, a clusterdescription table and a cluster center vertex table; and processing a retrieval request by utilizing the clustering result. The method and the device are suitable for semantic data query.
