Abstract

The present invention relates to application of a pharmaceutical composition in preparation of a medicine for treating subthreshold depression (SD) or relieving symptoms of subthreshold depression, and the pharmaceutical composition comprises a pharmaceutically effective amount of a wolfberry glycopeptide LbGp. In some embodiments of the invention, the provided pharmaceutical composition comprising LbGp can play a role in intervening subthreshold depression. The subthreshold depressive symptom reduction degree of a test group using the pharmaceutical composition provided by the invention is obviously higher than that of a placebo group, and the pharmaceutical composition has statistical significance and clinical significance.
