Abstract

The invention discloses a method for individually determining the movement locus of the lower jaw. The method comprises the following steps of: 1) through a scanning way, obtaining the three-dimensional diagrams of the upper jaw bone, the upper-row teeth, the lower jaw bone and the lower-row teeth of a patient under different mouth opening states; 2) determining the position of a hinge axis for the lower jaw bone to carry out rotary movement relative to the upper jaw bone; 3) determining the movement locus for the lower jaw bone to carry out the rotary movement relative to the upper jaw bone; 4) determining the movement locus for the lower jaw bone to carry out forward slippage movement relative to the upper jaw bone; 5) determining the movement locus for the lower jaw bone to carry out leftward slippage movement relative to the upper jaw bone; and 6) determining the movement locus for the lower jaw bone to carry out rightward slippage movement relative to the upper jaw bone. By use of the method disclosed by the invention, the movement locus of the lower jaw of the patient can be more accurately and truly obtained so as to truly and individually simulate the lower jaw movement of the patient, and the technical problems in the prior art that since a mechanical real articulator is adopted to simulate the lower jaw movement, operation is complex, simulation accuracy is low and materials, including steel materials, gypsum and the like, need to be consumed can be solved.
