Abstract

The present disclosure relates to an apparatus for treating ultra-thin glass and a method for treating ultra-thin glass. The apparatus for processing ultra-thin glass may include: a stage supporting ultra-thin glass; a transferring part which is used for transferring the ultra-thin glass to the objective table; an adhesive supply part for supplying an adhesive to the ultra-thin glass supported by the stage; and a pressing member for providing a pressing force to the plurality of ultra-thin glasses laminated with the adhesive therebetween. Here, the pressing member includes: a pressing component having a curved pressing surface having an area equal to or larger than an area of the ultra-thin glass; and a driving part for driving the pressing member to change a position of a pressing surface in contact with the ultra-thin glass. An apparatus for processing ultra-thin glass according to an exemplary embodiment may form an ultra-thin glass laminate by arranging an adhesive sheet between a plurality of ultra-thin glasses (UTGs) via an adhesive providing member and bonding the plurality of ultra-thin glasses to each other.

Description

technical field [0001] The present disclosure relates to an apparatus for processing ultra-thin glass and a method for processing ultra-thin glass, and more particularly, to an apparatus for processing ultra-thin glass and a method for laminating a plurality of ultra-thin glasses methods for processing ultra-thin glass. Background technique [0002] In recent years, display products have undergone significant technological development through constant change and innovation. As usage functions have been diversified and product designs have been continuously developed, portable and convenient products have been continuously developed. Future product changes can also be continuously developed by reflecting the simplicity and convenience of multi-function and product design, and the target point of future product changes may result in bendable, foldable and rollable display products. [0003] In order to realize flexible display products such as bendable, foldable, and rollabl...
