Abstract

The present disclosure relates to sealed flexible printed circuit connectors. The present invention discloses a connector for connecting traces on one or more flexible circuit boards to traces on a printed circuit board. These connectors may include gaskets, potting materials, and other structures or materials to seal the electrical connections in the connectors from moisture ingress, thereby preventing damage. The connector can be locked to secure one or more flexible circuit boards in place in the connector. The connector can be unlocked and opened to remove the flex circuit board for component removal or rework of the electronics.
