According to the spatial data publishing method and system provided by the invention, the path selection prompt box is displayed through the popup window after the connection with the GeoServer is established; the folder path input by the user is received through the path selection prompt box; and by reading all the spatial data in the folder step by step, a large amount of spatial data can be published in a one-key mode, and the problems that large-batch data publishing is time-consuming, low in reaction speed, multiple in steps and the like are solved.
