Abstract

The invention relates to an optical image stabilization system and a method for improving optical image stabilization. At least one example is an optical image stabilization system comprising: a sensor configured to detect an interfering signal; a processor; an actuator; and an actuator driver. The sensor may be configured to detect an interference signal, where the interference signal applies a force to the moving body, and where the force causes the moving body to displace. The processor may be configured to: determine a target position of the moving body based on the detected interference signal; and determining a correction driving current according to the target position. The actuator may be configured to: receive a corrective drive current; and positioning the moving body in response to receiving the correction drive current, where the moving body is positioned in a direction opposite to the direction of displacement. The actuator driver may be configured to controllably operate the actuator according to the corrected drive current.
