Embodiment Construction

[0036] The following examples are examples. Although the specification may refer to "a", "one" or "some" embodiments in various places, this does not necessarily mean that each such reference is to the same embodiment(s) or feature(s) Only applies to a single embodiment. Individual features of different embodiments may also be combined to provide other embodiments. Furthermore, the words "comprising" and "comprising" should be understood as not to limit the described embodiments to consist of only those features that have been mentioned and such embodiments may also contain features / structures not specifically mentioned.

[0037] In the following, as an example of an access architecture to which the embodiments may be applied, different exemplary embodiments will be described using: Long Term Evolution-Advanced (LTE-LTE-A) or New Radio (NR 5G) based radio access architecture without limiting embodiments to such architecture. Those skilled in the art will appreciate that, wi...

Abstract

This document discloses a solution for performing a disturbance rejection process. According to an aspect, a method for a terminal device comprises: receiving a first reference signal allocation from an access node, where the first reference signal is unique to a terminal device in a cell managed by the access node; receiving a second reference signal allocation from the access node, wherein the second reference signal is shared with at least one other terminal device in the cell; causing transmission of the payload data along with the first reference signal according to the regular transmission pattern; and breaking the regular transmission pattern by transmitting dummy data together with the second reference signal in a time-frequency resource shared with the at least one other terminal device.

Description

technical field [0001] Various embodiments described herein relate to the field of wireless communications, and in particular to protecting transmissions from intentional interference (also known as jamming). Background technique [0002] Cellular communication systems employ mechanisms that cause terminal devices to transmit in a regular manner. Such mechanisms may be based on quality of service (QoS) requirements or efficient scheduling. For example, certain services may require low-latency, high-reliability transmission, and one solution could be to allocate uplink resources by using persistent or semi-persistent scheduling, where periodic transmission resources are allocated to terminal devices. Such scheduling can also reduce signaling overhead. [0003] The reactive perturber system may be configured to monitor traffic in the radio channel and detect patterns in the traffic. One such pattern is the periodic transmission by a given transmitter. Upon detecting such a...
