Abstract

A key unit is composed of a parallel-serial converter and a key module, which are coupled with a controller. The keys in key module are configured in parallel mode. After a key is pressed, an interrupt signal is fed to controller for feeding a drive level to the key module. The key module then generates a parallel signal which is read out by the parallel-serial converter and then latched.
