Abstract

The invention provides an electrical connector, comprising: a first component for supporting a first electrical connector, a second component for supporting a second electrical connector insertable into the first electrical connector, installed in the first component a shorting element for electrically shorting the first electrical contact; and a locking member lockingly engaged with the second component. When the second component is inserted into the matched first component, the locking part can move the short-circuit element back to the non-short-circuit position, and the locking part can also move forward to engage with the first component. Engagement of the lock with the first component may lock the first and second components against separation. The action of connecting the two components and the action of pressing the lock to release the short circuit can be done in the same action.
