Abstract

To obtain an air conditioner in which a dehumidifying operation mode meeting the necessity of a user can be set and which is excellent in its operability by storing a plurality of kinds of dehumidifying operation modes and carrying out the dehumidifying operation in one dehumidifying operation selected therefrom. A main body 1 has a microcomputer 3, as its central part, to control its entire part. The microcomputer 3 is provided with a CPU 10 and a storing part 11 for storing data such as temperature, humidity, wind velocity and operating time set depending on a dehumidifying operation mode designated from an operation remote controller 2. The operation remote controller 2 has a dehumidifying button 14 for sequentially and cyclically selecting, for example, four dehumidifying operation modes for every operation of a user, an operation / stop button 15 for operating / stopping an air conditioner and a timer button 16 for sequentially and cyclically changing a plurality of setting times for every operation of the user.
