Attapulgite-silver nano composite antiseptic material and its preparation method is provided, which characterized in that exchangeable silver ion and nano silver particle exist on the surface of nano bar-shaped attapulgite.It is prepared that attapulgite clay act with silver reagent under the presence of surfactant and organic reductant. Silver particle with grain size being several nanometer has large activity, can continuously slowly release antiseptic silver ion.
