The application server is in use for searching patents through association diagram of patent as well as marks out searched patents. The application server includes a module for revealing citation relation of patent, and a main processing module. The database is in use for storing and accessing patent data and interrelation among patents. In procedure of searching patent, first the system selects patents to be analyzed, sets up query conditions, runs each module in application server to search patents, and marks out searched patents. The invention accomplishes search automatically and marks out searched patents.
