Abstract

A brush roll comprising a roll shaft; first brush filling material comprising either of a single yarn of a filament having a diameter of 0.1-2.0 mm and a collective fiber comprising 3-56 filaments made into a bundle; and second brush filling material comprising 100-3,000 filaments having a diameter of 0.005-0.05 mm made into a bundle, the first brush filling material and the second brush filling material being so arranged around an outside surface of the roll shaft that they can be distributed in such a relation as to be mixed with each other.
