The corrugated sleeve (4) is connected to the housing (3) at connection sections (26) on the outer side (5) thereof by soldering, characterized in that the connection sections (26) essentially lie on a common circumference line and have a width (11) which is as narrow as possible in the direction of the longitudinal axis (10), however, are of such a size that, due to the total surface area thereof, the honeycomb body (2) is securely fixed under operating conditions.
