Abstract

The present invention relates to vane drive unit for camera, including: a substrate (10) with an opening (15); vanes supported to open and close the opening (15) automatically; and drive ring (30), supported to rotate freely relative to the substrate (10), and transferring drive force supplied by a drive source to the vanes. The vane drive unit also includes: main supporting part (13), sliding contacting to part of the drive ring (30) and supporting the drive ring (30); as well as projecting parts (31a to 31c) and auxiliary supporting parts (11a to 11c), for preventing the drive ring (30) fromdisengaging the main supporting part to incline during assembling operation.
