A method for automatically loading digital watermark includes obtaining electronic file to be printed, picking up head of electronic file under protection of DRM to obtain printing task, calling data of said electronic file into clipboard, downloading digital watermark corresponding to said electronic file to application server from remote server, converting called in electronic file on clipboard to be pattern file, carrying out exclusive OR operation on color value of said watermark and said pattern file being combined together, sending them to printer for printing out pattern file with watermark.
