Embodiment Construction

[0018] FIG. 1 shows a hose clamp 10 according to an exemplary embodiment of the invention. The hose clamp 10 includes an elongated, integral plastic body having two clamp arms 12 and 14 . The two clamping arms are connected to each other at the end 16 of the hose clamp, in the unloaded state the clamping arm 14 is deflected by an angle a relative to the clamping arm 12 . A protrusion 18 and 20 are provided on clamp arm 12 and clamp arm 14 respectively. The hose section threaded onto the hose clip can be closed off by means of these two protrusions. The clamping arm 14 can overcome the elastic force of the end portion 16 and rotate toward the clamping arm 12 , and in the closed state, the clamping arm 14 and the end portion 22 are hooked to each other. The hooking mechanism is formed on the one hand by a projection 24 at the end of the hose clamp 10 facing the free end of the clamp arm and on the other hand by an abutment edge 26 formed on the free end of the clamp arm. Abstract

The invention relates to a hose clamp (10) for clamping preferably catheter extensions consisting of an elongated single-piece plastic body provided with two arms (12, 14), which are elastically connected to each other by the ends thereof and form protrusions (18, 20), respectively, in such a way that they are arranged in front of each other when the clamp (10) is closed and are attached to each other in the closed state thereof, wherein openings (34, 34') for receiving a hose are embodied on the front and rear ends (16, 22). The inventive clamp (10) is practically embodied in the form of a cylinder which is provided with cut-off sides and decreases in a conical manner on two sides towards the ends (16, 22) thereof which are fitted to a circular shape of an insertable hose.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a hose clamp according to the preamble of claim 1 , preferably for clamping conduit extensions. Background technique [0002] Such hose clamps have already been disclosed, for example, in European Patent Application Publication No. EP 0 995 461 A1 which describes a hose clamp comprising an integral plastic body which is itself elongate in shape with two Jaw arms with interconnected ends. On the inner side of the two clamp arms, the two clamp arms each form a protrusion which faces each other in the closed state of the hose clamp and which are dimensioned such that they squeeze the hose . In the closed state of the hose clamp, the two clamp arms can be hooked together. At the front and rear ends of the hose clamps, the hose clamps each have a bore through which a hose, such as a tube extension, can be accommodated. [0003] Hose clamps of this type are used, for example, on catheter extensions in the field of peritoneal dial...
