Abstract

In the case of a headlight unit integrally joining together individual lamp bodies having the respective housings independent of each other on the left and right sides, if the headlight unit is rigidly secured to a body cover and each of the housings is elastically carried by a body frame, the relative positions of the individual lamp bodies may be likely to be offset from each other depending on the attachment state of the headlight unit to the body cover. This requires high molding accuracy, machining accuracy and assembling accuracy of component parts, which leads to a problem of increased cost and assembly man-hours. A supporting structure is provided to prevent this problem. Left and right separate lamp body units 25A, 25B are joined together with bolts and nuts by superposing projection pieces 60A and 60B; 61A and 61B; and 62A and 62B.
