Abstract

The invention discloses asphalt, comprising the following compositions by weight portion: 100 weight portions of asphalt, 25 to 35 weigh portions of tyre rubber powder, and 0.5 to 3 weight portions of cationic surface activating agents. The asphalt of the invention, which is effectively improved in terms of asphalt property, is suited to paving road surfaces, with long service life and less further maintenance cost. In addition, the novel rubber asphalt is simple in production process, easy to operate and low in cost, with the capacity of reusing waste tyre rubber.
