Abstract

The invention relates to an extraction process of a plant rumex gmelini and an extract thereof. The extraction steps are as follows: 1. The dried root of rumex gmelini is grinded into initial powder, and a certain weight amount of which is added into a Soxhlet extractor. 2. The initial powder in the Soxhlet extractor is constantly refluxed and extracted for 4h by 70ml of ethanol (50 percent) in the temperature of keeping the liquid boiling slightly. 3. The extract is filtered after cooling and is dried by distillation under normal pressure and at the temperature of 50 to 60 DEG C. 4. The acquired dry paste is crushed into powder by a conventional method, thus acquiring the rumex gmelini extract.
