Abstract

The invention provides a device, system and method for automatically configuring an application terminal in household network. The device of the invention comprises a GACS (household gateway automatic configuration server) and a household gateway. The system of the invention comprises: a GACS, a household gateway and an application terminal. The method of the invention comprises: the application terminal obtains address information from the household gateway and transmits configuration request information to the GACS; after receiving the configuration request information, the GACS obtains the address information of TACS (automatic configuration server belonging to application terminal) by inquiring and transmits the address information of the TACS to the application terminal through the response information of the configuration request information; the application terminal transmits the configuration request information to the TACS according to the address information of the TACS returning by the GACS and obtains configuration information from the TACS for automatic configuration. The invention ensures the application terminal obtain the address information belonging to ACS safely without increasing the complexity of the application terminal, thereby obtaining configuration.
