The invention is characterized in that: a keyword classification table is arranged in the computer system and the keyword classification table records plural technology classifications and a plural character-word corresponding with each technology classification; keyword inputted by a user is compared with the keyword classification table and the technology classification which the keyword belongs to is analyzed, and then the needed patent literature is retrieved according to the keyword in the patent literatures belonging to the technology classification. Because adopting the method, the invention has the advantages that: when retrieving, the method firstly processes to determine for the technology classification, so as to remove a plurality of disrelated patent literatures to process to retrieve again; and retrieval efficiency is greatly improved.
