Embodiment 1
[0023] Preliminary Example 1: Preparation of Saccharomyces japonicus Seed Extract
[0024] 5 L of 50% ethanol aqueous solution was added to 1 kg (dry weight) of semen japonicus seeds purchased from the herbal medicine market. The extraction was performed maintaining the temperature at 80°C for 4 hours. This step was repeated twice to obtain herbal extracts. The extract was filtered and concentrated under reduced pressure using a rotary evaporator at 60°C. Then, after complete removal of the solvent in a vacuum oven, 21 g of the ethanol extract was obtained in powder form.
Embodiment 2
[0025] Preliminary Example 2: Preparation of Extract Containing Coconut Saponin I
[0026] 1 kg (dry weight) of Saccharomyces japonicus seeds purchased from the herbal market were crushed and 5 L of 10% ethanol aqueous solution was added. Extraction was performed by maintaining 80° C. in a water bath for 3 hours. This step was repeated twice. The extract was filtered and concentrated under reduced pressure using a rotary evaporator at 60°C. Then, after the solvent was completely removed in a vacuum oven, 35-45 g of the extract containing coriander saponin I was obtained in powder form.
Embodiment 3
[0027] Preliminary Example 3: Preparation of Part I of Gacia saponin
[0028] Gacia saponin I was efficiently isolated from the extract prepared in Preliminary Example 2 by precipitation using an organic solvent (acetone). 10 g of the extract prepared in Preliminary Example 2 was dissolved in 100 mL of purified water, and 100 mL of acetone was added to obtain a 50% (v / v) acetone aqueous solution. The precipitate was filtered off and 400 mL of acetone was further added to the filtrate to obtain an 80% (v / v) acetone aqueous solution. The newly formed precipitate was separated using filter paper and dried.
