Abstract

To provide a feed-through for feeding electric power to a submerged pump installed in a tank for cryogenic liquefied gases such as LNG and LPG. The feed-through has a simple structure and can check for leakage of the gases and air at low cost. In the feed-through (50), a bushing (16) made of an insulating material is inserted in the bushing insertion hole (14) of a flange (12), and a conductor (18) is inserted in the hollow part of the bushing. A gap between the flange and each end of the bushing insertion hole and a gap between each end of the bushing and the conductor are sealed airtight by seal members (20, 22, 24, 26). A through-hole (52) is formed in the wall of the bushing, and a space part (54) communicating with the through-hole is formed in the flange. The pressure in the space part of the flange is detected by a pressure detector (56).

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to a communication member for supplying power to a submersible pump (submerged pump) installed in a tank of low-temperature liquefied gas such as liquefied natural gas (LNG) or liquefied petroleum gas (LPG). Background technique [0002] Conventionally, it has been used as a connecting member for supplying power to a submersible pump installed in a tank of low-temperature liquefied gas such as LNG, LPG, etc. Figure 4 Members of the structure shown (for example, refer to Patent Documents 1 to 4). Figure 4 Connectors 10 are respectively inserted into ceramic sleeves 16 (only two sleeves are shown) in the three sleeve insertion holes 14 of the disc-shaped flange (next door flange) 12 made of stainless steel. A conductor 18 is inserted into the hollow portion of the sleeve 16 . Furthermore, the flange 12 and both ends of the sleeve insertion hole 14 are airtightly sealed by sealing members 20 and 22 such as a bellows, and th...
