Problems solved by technology

From the perspective of the impact on the genetic traits of organisms, cSNP can be divided into two types: one is synonymous cSNP (synonymous cSNP), that is, the change of the coding sequence caused by the SNP does not affect the amino acid sequence of the protein it translates , the mutated base has the same meaning as the unmutated base; the other is non-synonymous cSNP (non-synonymouscSNP), which means that the change of the base sequence can change the protein sequence translated based on it, thus affecting the protein sequence. Abstract

The invention discloses a method for detecting beef cattle uncoupling protein 3 (UCP3) gene single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP). The method comprises that UCP3 gene-containing beef cattle whole genome DNAs to be detected are used as templates and are subjected to PCR amplification based on a primer pair P1 as primers so the beef cattle UCP3 gene is amplified, and the PCR product is subjected to SSCP polymorphism detection. The gene polymorphism site comprises a SNP site A or G at the 5191th of the cattle UCP3 gene. Through combination of PCR product SNP mixing sequencing screening and PCR-SSCP, SSCP instability is avoided and mutation site detection missing are avoided. The invention provides the simple, fast, low-cost, high-precision and use-convenient method for screening and detecting a genetic marker closely related to beef quality characters on the DNA level and the method can be used for cattle auxiliary selection and molecular breeding.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the field of molecular genetics, and relates to a method for detecting the single nucleotide polymorphism of beef cattle UCP3 gene, [0002] The single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) of cattle meat traits gene is used as a molecular genetic marker, especially the single nucleotide polymorphism site of cattle UCP3 (uncoupling protein 3) gene and its application. Background technique [0003] With the development of the economy, people's requirements for the quantity and quality of beef are increasing day by day. Although my country has become the third largest producer of cattle and beef, most of the high-end products depend on imports. Therefore, it is imperative to improve the performance of meat. The main ways are to improve the nutrition of the feed, strengthen the level of feeding management and cultivate excellent varieties, and the improved varieties are the prerequisite and material basis for the development of the beef ...
