Problems solved by technology

As we all know, it is difficult to make the gain adjustment circuit have the three advantages of high linearity, high response speed and wide gain adjustable range at the same time in circuit design.
For example, when using an operational amplifier to implement a gain adjustment circuit, although high linearity can be obtained, its response speed will be sacrificed

Embodiment Construction

[0009] The transistors used in the following embodiments can be realized by metal oxide semiconductor transistors (MOStransistor) or bipolar transistors (bipolar transistors), and each transistor includes a control terminal, a first terminal and a second terminal. For metal-oxide-semiconductor transistors, the control terminal is a gate, the first terminal is a drain and the second terminal is a source. For a bipolar transistor, the control terminal is a base, the first terminal is a collector and the second terminal is an emitter. In practice, NMOS transistors can be replaced by NPN bipolar transistors, and PMOS transistors can be replaced by PNP bipolar transistors.

[0010] Please refer to FIG. 1 , which is a simplified schematic diagram of a gain adjustment circuit 100 according to an embodiment of the present invention. As shown in the figure, the gain adjustment circuit 100 includes a first transistor 102, a second transistor 104, an impedance element 106, a first curre...

Abstract

The invention relates to a gain regulation circuit, which comprises a switch set, a first transistor and a second transistor, a first current mirror, a second current mirror, a first impedance network and a second impedance network, wherein the second ends of the first and the second transistors are mutually coupled through an impedance element; the first current mirror is coupled with the first end of the first transistor and is used for providing a set of first current; the second current mirror is coupled with the first end of the second transistor and is used for providing a set of secondcurrent; the first impedance network is coupled with the second end of the first transistor through a current source and is used for providing a first output signal; and the second impedance network is coupled with the second end of the second transistor through another current source and is used for providing a second output signal, wherein the first impedance network and the second impedance network are both provided with a plurality of connection points and are coupled with the first current or the second current through a switch of the switch set respectively.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the technology of the gain adjustment circuit, especially the gain adjustment circuit which has high linearity and high response speed and can provide negative gain. Background technique [0002] The gain-cont rolled amplifier is a widely used circuit, and its design considerations will vary with the actual application. Generally speaking, there are three important design parameters for a gain adjustment circuit: linearity, response speed, and adjustable gain range. As we all know, it is difficult to make the gain adjustment circuit have the three advantages of high linearity, high response speed and wide gain adjustable range at the same time in circuit design. For example, when an operational amplifier is used to implement a gain adjustment circuit, although high linearity can be obtained, its response speed will be sacrificed. Contents of the invention [0003] In view of this, an object of the present invention is to pr...
