An embodiment of the invention discloses a method for increasing the reliability of wireless terminal temperature compensation oscillator and a device thereof. The wireless terminal comprises a plurality of temperature compensation oscillators which are respectively corresponding with different operating modes of wireless terminal. Each temperature compensation oscillator is positioned on the area with low temperature on the single board in the corresponding operating mode. The method of the invention comprises the following steps: confirming the operating mode of wireless terminal; and enabling the temperature compensation oscillator corresponding with the operating mode. The embodiment of the invention also provides a method for laying the temperature compensation oscillators. The embodiment of the invention aims at different operating modes and selects the temperature compensation oscillator in the area with lower temperature in the operating mode thereby preventing the condition that the temperature compensation oscillator can not normally operate because of overhigh temperature rising at the position of the temperature compensation oscillator in a certain degree, and increasing the reliability of temperature compensation oscillator.
