Abstract

The present invention relates to a method for maximizing throughput of multi-input multi-output multiple access channel. Firstly channel estimation is executed at the receiving end for obtaining the channel matrix of each user. Then the input covariance matrix of each user is initialized. Simultaneously each user is executed with multi-user water injection for obtaining the new covariance matrix of each user. Then water injection is repeated according to the obtained new covariance matrix until the convergence of throughput (namely the sum speed capability). Finally the input covariance matrix of each user is fed back to the transmitting end of each user through feedback channel. The transmitting end adjusts the input covariance matrix according to the fed back covariance matrix, namely the correlation degree of different antenna signal of user on the antenna array, for obtaining the purpose of maximizing the system throughput. The algorithm convergence speed of the invention is quick, and is basically not affected by the user number. The method of the invention is more easily realized in engineering, and can generalized to wireless MIMO system, wired MIMO system or MIMO+OFDM system.
