Abstract

The invention discloses gelata for treating chilblain, and a preparation method thereof. The gelata consists of pharmacodynamic ingredients, proper gel matrix, a humectant and a conserving agent, wherein the pharmacodynamic ingredients are cassia oil, safflower, borneol and camphor; the gel matrix, the humectant and the conserving agent preferably select carbomer, glycerol and hydroxyphenyl ethylester. The gelata is used for treating herpes zoster. The invention also discloses the method for preparing the medicine. The medicine has the advantages of nice appearance, strong adhesiveness on the part of a pathologic change, long acting time, nonirritant on skin, non foreign body sensation, non greasy sensation, non pollution to clothes, simple preparation process, good stability, convenience for storage, portability, transportation and the like.
