Abstract

A railing construction of a passenger conveyor and a method for mounting a baluster are disclosed, the passenger conveyor includes: a plurality of baluster-connecting portions arranged on a truss for accommodating a plurality of steps, which are interconnected annularly and move cyclically; and a baluster which can be rotatably connected to the baluster-connecting portions and can rotate to be a standing position at which the baluster stands with respect to the truss and a lying position at which the baluster lies towards the steps.
