Embodiment approach

[0079] Capture of cigarette mainstream smoke: equilibrate the cigarette at 22±1°C and relative humidity of 60±2% for 48 hours, and use the British Filtrona SM400 at the temperature of 22±2°C and relative humidity of 60±5%. The type automatic smoking machine smokes cigarettes according to the standard conditions stipulated in YC / T 29-1996, each hole smokes 10 cigarettes, and uses Cambridge filters to capture the mainstream smoke of cigarettes.

[0080]Preparation of mainstream smoke samples: Fold a Cambridge filter with particulate matter into a 200mL Erlenmeyer flask, accurately add 50ml of 1% acetic acid, and use a T660 / H ultrasonic oscillator from Germany’s TRANSSONIC company at room temperature Ultrasonic extraction for 20min, let stand for 5min. Take 2mL of the extract and filter it with a 0.45μm microporous membrane to obtain a mainstream smoke sample. The processed sample must be analyzed within 3 days. Quantification by external standard method.

Abstract

The invention provides a method for separating and detecting harmful phenols in main stream smoke of cigarettes to overcome the drawback of the prior art that a high efficiency liquid chromatography can only measure the mixed content of m-cresol and p-cresol when used to detect the harmful phenols in the main stream smoke of the cigarettes by adding a certain amount of beta-cyclodextrin in a flowing phase of the high efficiency liquid chromatography. Thus, while successfully separating and detecting isomers of the m-cresol and the p-cresol, the method avoids influencing the separation and measurement of the content of o-dihydroxybenzene, m-dihydroxybenzene, p-dihydroxybenzene, phenol and o-cresol. The method is expected to be applied to daily detection of harmful phenol substances of cigarette products.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a method for detecting harmful phenols in mainstream smoke of cigarettes, in particular to a method for separating and detecting seven kinds of harmful phenols in mainstream smoke of cigarettes. Background technique [0002] Harmful phenolic compounds in mainstream cigarette smoke mainly include: o-, m-, p-quinone, phenol, o-, m-, p-cresol, which are one of the important components of mainstream cigarette smoke It has a direct impact and is also an important class of harmful ingredients. There have been many literature reports on methods for the separation and detection of phenolic compounds. Gas chromatography and high performance liquid chromatography are the two most widely used methods in the analysis of phenolic substances in cigarette smoke, and have successfully detected the phenolic compounds in mainstream and sidestream smoke. The 7 main harmful phenolic components in the test-o-, m-, p-quinone, phenol, o-, m-, p-cres...
