Example Embodiment

[0031] The communication bus control method and device are described below in conjunction with the drawings.

[0032] figure 1 Shows a plurality of communication bus control devices according to the present invention. For example, in the #1 line card, it includes: a random delay generation module, which is set on each of at least two line cards, and is used to generate different delay times; a delay unit (not shown) is used for After the line cards with communication requirements detect that the communication bus is idle, they are delayed according to different delay times; and the sending unit (not shown) is enabled to preempt the currently idle line cards with communication requirements. When the communication bus is used, the line card with communication requirement is enabled to send data to the bus.

[0033] However, even if the delay time is randomly generated at one time, conflicts will occur during the next preemption of multiple line cards. For this reason, preferably, th...

Abstract

The invention provides a method for controlling a communication bus for solving the problem of great collision occurrence probability caused by traditional technological methods. The method comprises the following steps: generating mutually different delay times on at least two line cards; delaying according to the mutually different delay times when detecting that the communication bus is idle by line cards with communication requests; and preempting the current idle communication bus by the line cards with the communication requests according to the respective delay times and sending data to the communication bus. The invention also provides a device for controlling the communication bus. The method and the device lower the collision probability of the bus to a maximum extent, reduces the data packet loss ratio caused by collision, improves the working stability of the bus and enables corresponding equipment to work more reliable and stable.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to the communication field, and more specifically, to a communication bus control method and device. Background technique [0002] Taking the HDLC bus control protocol as an example, High-Level Data Link Control (High-Level Data Link Control or HDLC for short) is a bit-oriented data link layer protocol that transmits data on a synchronous network. It is developed by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) Developed according to the extension of IBM's SDLC (Synchronous Data Link Control) protocol. [0003] Link control protocols focus on the transmission of data segmented into physical blocks or packets, led by a start marker and terminated by a stop marker, also known as a frame. Each start (frame head) and end (frame end) has a sign code 01111110, which is used as the start and end indication of the frame and the synchronization of the frame. Its frame format structure is as follows figure 1 Shown: The...
