Problems solved by technology

On the other hand, among Bifidobacterium proliferation factors, extracts from natural products have disadvantages such as the complexity of the production method, or their high cost
In addition, bifidobacteria proliferation factors such as oligosaccharides are small molecules, and some have side effects such as diarrhea, which is a problem due to increased water content that increases the osmotic pressure of intestinal contents
Therefore, the method of ingesting bifidobacterial proliferation factors is not satisfactory in terms of the actual improvement of the intestinal microflora

Embodiment approach 1

[0056] (experimental design)

[0057] The following human experiments were performed with informed consent according to the Helsinki declaration. The test subjects were 9 healthy Japanese men and women who had regular defecation and usually defecated every day. The male to female ratio of the experimental subjects was 2 males and 7 females. The background of the experimental subjects was as follows: age 27.1±6.8 (mean±standard deviation), BMI 21.6±1.9 (mean±standard deviation). Experimental subjects met with doctors at the beginning and end of the experiment. The progress of this experiment is shown in figure 1 middle.

[0058] The experimental period was 28 days, and the -7th day to the -1st day were set as the "pre-intake stage". During this stage, no ingestion containing 4×10 8 cfu / g or more of Lactobacillus paracasei KW3110 yoghurt (hereinafter referred to as KW yoghurt) as live cells; day 0 to day 6 is set as "100g-intake phase" and ingested every day during this pha...

Embodiment approach 2

[0096] (experimental design)

[0097] The subjects of the experiment were 10 healthy Japanese adult women who had a tendency to be constipated. The background of the experimental subjects was as follows: age 22.90±3.57 (mean±standard deviation), BMI 20.55±2.75 (mean±standard deviation). Experimental subjects met with doctors at the beginning and end of the experiment. The progress of this experiment is shown in image 3 middle. The experimental period is 21 days, and the -7th day to the -1st day are set as the "pre-intake phase", during this period, KW yoghurt is not ingested; the 0th day to the 13th day is set as the "intake phase" , the daily intake of KW yoghurt during this phase is 100g. In this stage, the 0th day to the 6th day are set as the "first week", and the 7th day to the 13th day are set as the "second week". In the experimental stage, the intake of foods that affect the intestinal microbial flora, including yoghurt other than KW yoghurt, lactic acid bacteria...

Abstract

The present invention is to provide a composition for improving the intestinal microflora for maintaining a good intestinal microflora. The present invention consists of a composition for improving the intestinal microflora characterized by containing L. paracasei KW3110 or its variant as an active component. The composition exhibits an excellent intestinal regulation effect, intestinal environment-improving effect, and intestinal microflora-improving effect, enabling to form healthy microflora in human intestine, when being ingested. Especially, a composition for improving the intestinal microflora of the present invention activates lactic acid bacteria such as Bifidobacterium which are beneficial bacteria among the intestinal microflora, and enables substantively the improvement of the intestinal microflora and the maintenance of a good intestinal microflora. In the present invention, it is particularly preferred that the composition is a composition wherein L. paracasei KW3110 or its mutant is combined with probiotics and / or prebiotics.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to a composition for improving intestinal microflora comprising Lactobacillus paracasei (Lactobacillus paracasei) KW3110 or a variant thereof as an active ingredient, which proliferates beneficial bacteria Bifidobacteria of intestinal microflora . Background technique [0002] Bacteria permanently reside in the human gut and constitute the gut microbiome. Recently, it has been recognized that the gut microbiota has important associations with human health, and attention to the gut microbiota has increased. The composition of the human gut microbial community is mostly stable as long as the environment and dietary content are stable and the host is in good health. However, the ecosystem of gut microbiota varies depending on multiple factors, including host age, disease, microbial infection, stress, nutritional composition, and drug administration. Occasionally, abnormal gut microbiomes form that can have detrimental effe...
