The landfill is divided into a plurality of units by water-resisting dams; two main pipes which are a rain water pipe and asewage pipe are arranged outside the landfill; and the sewage from a landfill unit is introduced into the sewage pipe, and the rain water from a non-landfill unit is introduced into the rain water pipe. In a specific implementation way, each unit is provided with a main unit pipe and a branch unit pipe, wherein the branch unit pipes are shock tubes provided with holes, can collect the rain water or sewage into the main unit pipes and discharge the rain water or sewage outside the units; and the main unit pipes are selectively communicated with the rain water pipe or the sewage pipe by valves.The method can reduce the sewage generation quantity in the large area landfill to the minimum, thus greatly relieving the pressure of sewage treatment and having good environmental and economic benefits.
