Embodiment Construction

[0030] Reference will now be made in detail to the preferred embodiments of the invention, examples of which are illustrated in the accompanying drawings.

[0031] refer to figure 1 , an embodiment of the present invention will now be described.

[0032] figure 1 is a view of a bicycle-shaped toy constructed from building blocks for constructing toys according to an embodiment of the present invention. Figure 2A , 2B , 2C and 2D are constructs figure 1 A view of some of the blocks used in the bicycle-shaped toy.

[0033] Such as figure 1 As shown, for example, a bicycle-shaped toy is constructed by connecting the contact surface 21 of one building block with the contact surface 21 of the other building block by using the magnetic force generated between the different pole faces of the two magnets 50 of the two building blocks. Blocks 6, 7, 8 and 10 are typical blocks used to construct bicycle shaped toys. A variety of toys can be constructed from the building blocks ac...

Abstract

There is provided a block for building a toy, including a body, a case provided in the body, a holder with a sliding-prevention part, provided movably and rotatably within the case, and a magnet with south and north pole faces, installed in the holder. The blocks, each with this construction, can connect to each other to build a toy, without sliding off relative to each other.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to a block for constructing toys. Background technique [0002] Typically, building blocks used to construct toys have male and female connecting portions. Insert the male connection of one block into the female connection of the other to construct the toy. Products of the Lego (LEGO) Group are representative of such building blocks. [0003] There is another type of building block for building toys that is fitted with rotatable magnets, each magnet having a south and north pole. The south pole face of a magnet mounted in one block is connected to the north face of a magnet mounted in another block, or vice versa. [0004] The toy is constructed by having the outer sides of the magnets in the blocks that will be in contact with each other have different poles, the blocks each having a rotatable magnet connected to each other as they are. When the outer sides of the magnets in the blocks happen to have the same pole, an...
