Abstract

The invention discloses a method for processing measurement configuration in carrier aggregation. The method comprises the following steps that: user equipment (UE) which is in a connected state in a cell of the carrier aggregation governed by a base station acquires one or more configured measurement reference component carriers; the UE receives the measurement configuration transmitted by the base station, wherein the measurement configuration comprises a measurement events applied to the one or more measurement reference component carriers; and the UE measures according to the measurement configuration. The invention also discloses a method for processing the measurement configuration in the carrier aggregation. The method comprises the following step of: after the UE in the connected state in the cell of the carrier aggregation governed by the base station receives the measurement configuration, determining the measurement reference component carrier corresponding to the measurement event in the measurement configuration and evaluating a measurement object meeting an event triggering condition. The method has the advantages of eliminating different meanings of a service cell in the carrier aggregation, realizing compatibility with the measurement configuration in the conventional protocol and meeting the requirement of mobility in the carrier aggregation.
