Abstract

A damper unit for braking the speed of movement of a moving body by using a piston damper provided with a cylinder and a piston rod which is connected to a piston in the cylinder. The damper unit is composed of a case in which the piston damper is mounted, a transmitting member slidably mounted in the case and transmitting external force caused by movement of the moving body, a link member havingone end mounted to the case so as to function as the center of rotation of the link member and the other end pivotably supported by the transmitting member, and a connecting member connected between opposite ends of the link member and made to be in contact with or connected to either the piston rod or the cylinder.
