Abstract

The invention discloses a method and device for detecting a router identification conflict and routing equipment, wherein the method comprises the following steps: when the first routing equipment receives a hello message sent from other routing equipment, judging whether the router identification carried in the received hello message is consistent with the router identification of the first routing equipment or not; if the router identification carried in the received hello message is consistent with the router identification of the first routing equipment, determining that the router identification conflict occurs; and when the first routing equipment receives a first link state advertisement (LSA) sent from other routing equipment, if the judging result shows that the router identification carried in the received first LSA is consistent with the router identification of the first routing equipment, judging whether the first LSA is generated by the first routing equipment or not, and if the first LSA is not generated by the first routing equipment, determining that the router identification conflict occurs. The invention accurately and reliably detects whether the router conflict occurs or not and avoids the problems that the network oscillation is caused, partial routes can not be computed correctly and the shortest path first (SPF) tree can not be constructed correctly when the router conflict occurs in the prior art and can not be solved.
