Abstract

The invention discloses a developer container comprising a housing, a transmission component, a transmission component containing unit, and a supporting component, wherein the housing extends longitudinally and includes a developer containing chamber and a waste developer containing chamber and a first opening, the first opening providing fluid communication between the developer containing chamber and the outer part of the housing. The transmission component is employed for transmitting waste developer in transmission direction. The transmission component containing unit contains the transmission component and is provided with a upstream end portion, a downstream end portion in transmission direction, a second opening, and a third opening, wherein the second opening is arranged in the upstream end portion and provides fluid communication between the inner part and the outer part of the transmission component containing unit, and the third opening provides fluid communication between the inner part of the transmission containing unit and the waste developer chamber. The supporting component is employed for supporting the transmission component containing unit so as to enable the transmission component containing unit to move perpendicularly to the vertical direction relative to the housing.
