Abstract

The present invention provides a mechanical parking device which can reduce obstruction in garage incoming / outgoing of other vehicles caused by charging an EV vehicle. A bedplate type mechanical parking device is provided with the following components: bedplates (20,20-1,20-2) for carrying vehicles; a plurality of parking spaces for accommodating the bedplates; a bedplate driving device which causes the bedplates to respectively perform planar movement independently among a plurality of parking spaces, and charging equipment which comprises a power supply device (70) that charges accumulators that are carried on the vehicle. The control device which forms the driving device of the bedplate executes the control which can cause the vehicles carried on other bedplates to enter the garage or get out of the garage in a period when the charging equipment charges the accumulator carried on the vehicle.
