Abstract

A method and a device for sending a charging data recording are provided in the present invention. The method according to the present invention includes that: a charging gateway receives charging information from an application server, wherein the charging information carries an identifier which indicates whether the charging information needs to be combined; in the case that there are multiple application servers, the charging gateway combines the multiple charging information, wherein the charging information is the charging information which carries the identifier indicating that the charging information needs to be combined; the charging gateway generates a charging data recording according to the combined charging information; and the charging gateway sends the charging data recording to a charging center. The present invention can resolve the problems that the charging center often needs to process a great deal of information so that repeated charging is caused and that the processing in the charging center is relatively complex, and thereby realize the effect of reducing the burden of the charging center for processing information and the effect of avoiding repeated charging.
