In some embodiments the LAN is also connected to a data server running an instance of a database. In other embodiments the call center, and other similar call centers are all part of a call routing system wherein calls are routed from Service Control Points to call centers over telephone lines, and data is routed to the call centers over a separate digital network connection between processors coupled to the Service Control Points and to the call center central switches. In various embodiments aspects of the invention apply to Internet protocol network telephony (IPNT) calls as well as to conventional telephony calls.

The invention discloses a phone embezzlement prevention method and device. The method comprises the steps of receiving a terminal registration instruction sent by a BOSS (Business & Operation Support System), wherein the terminal registration instruction comprises account open information of a terminal; determining whether the account open information of the terminal is consistent with an embezzlement prevention rule or not, wherein the embezzlement prevention rule is a concurrent call service type determined at least according to terminal attribute information and terminal call right; and if the account open information is consistent with the embezzlement prevention rule, sending the terminal registration instruction to a Centrex, thereby enabling the Centrex to carry out registration on the terminal according to the terminal registration instruction. Through determination of whether the account open information of the terminal is consistent with the embezzlement prevention rule of the concurrent call service type or not, wherein the concurrent call service type is determined according to the terminal attribute information and the terminal call right, and through analysis of the set call right and the concurrent call open condition when an account of the terminal is opened, the multichannel embezzlement condition of the terminal can be reduced, and the prevention is carried out actively in advance.
