Embodiment Construction

[0019] combine figure 1 , the present invention is based on the driver's fatigue detection method of monocular vision, and the steps are as follows:

[0020] Step 1: Perform face detection on each frame of image. If a face is detected, record the current face area. If no face is detected, use the latest recorded face area to initialize the face tracker and use it to perform Face tracking, if no face is detected in the current frame, and there is no record of a face detected in the last N frames, then perform step 4;

[0021] Step 2: Use the morphological filtering method to detect the dark area in the face area and combine the geometric position information to find the pupil area to realize the detection and positioning of both eyes; if no reliable eyes can be detected, perform step 4;

[0022] Step 3: Extract the pupil area ratio feature, the maximum row average horizontal and vertical gradient ratio feature, the mean square deviation feature of the human eye area and the sk...

Abstract

The invention discloses a method for testing driver fatigue based on monocular vision. The method achieves the purpose reminding the driver of safe driving through monitoring the working state of a driver by means of detection and tracking of a human face, detection and positioning of human eyes and identification of eye states. The method is specially characterized in that a camera facing towards the face of the driver is installed above a dashboard in a cab, the lens of the camera is peripherally provided with infrared LED illuminating light sources; the facial images of the driver are acquired by using the camera, every acquired frame image is subjected to the detection and tracking of human faces, and the detection and positioning of human eyes are performed in a human face area resulting from the detection, the opening and closing states of human eyes are identified by means of left / right eye areas, and finally, fatigue detection is accomplished through the detection state of continuous frames. The method disclosed in the invention can achieve the accurate prompt of driver fatigue, and has the advantages of no disturbance to driver, high real-time property, high robustness, low hardware cost and easiness in popularization.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the active safety driving technology of automobiles, in particular to a driver fatigue detection method based on monocular vision. Background technique [0002] Driver fatigue is one of the important causes of vicious traffic accidents, which seriously endangers traffic safety. Driving fatigue detection is a process of real-time detection of driver fatigue during driving and appropriate warnings to prevent accidents. At present, the mainstream driver fatigue detection technologies are divided into three categories: fatigue detection based on driver physiological parameters, fatigue detection based on vehicle driving status, and fatigue detection based on driver behavior characteristics. Fatigue detection based on physiological parameters of drivers, such as electroencephalogram (EEG), electro-oculogram (EOG) and heart rate, among which EEG is known as the "gold standard" for measuring fatigue. This type of method uses the dif...
