[0064] Figure 3A is a schematic diagram of an electrode film layer in a barrier panel according to an embodiment of the present invention. In order to clearly show the relationship between the electrode film layers in the barrier panel, Figure 3A The insulating layer 103 between the first electrode layer 102 and the first patterned electrode 104 is omitted, and the insulating layer 113 between the second electrode layer 112 and the second patterned electrode 114 is omitted. Please refer to Figure 3A , in this embodiment, the first patterned electrode 104 includes a first connection portion 104 b and a plurality of first branch portions 104 a, and one end of the first branch portion 104 a is connected to the first connection portion 104 . Similarly, the second patterned electrode 114 includes a second connection portion 114b and a plurality of second branch portions 114a, and one end of the second branch portion 114a is connected to the second connection portion 114b. [0078] Figure 7 is a schematic diagram of an electrode film layer in a barrier panel according to another embodiment of the present invention. Figure 7 The embodiment of Figure 3A The example of is similar, so here with the Figure 3A The same components are represented by the same symbols and will not be described again. Figure 7 The embodiment of Figure 3A The difference of the embodiment is that the barrier panel further includes a third patterned electrode 106 and a fourth patterned electrode 116 . In particular, the third patterned electrode 106 is located above the first electrode layer 102, and the third patterned electrode 106 is electrically insulated from the first electrode layer 102 and the first patterned electrode 104, and the third patterned electrode 106 is connected to the first electrode layer 102. A patterned electrodes 104 are arranged alternately. The fourth patterned electrode 116 is located above the second electrode layer 112, and the fourth p...

Abstract

The invention discloses a two-dimensional and three-dimensional display. The two-dimensional and three-dimensional display comprises a display panel and a barrier panel positioned on one side of the display panel, wherein the barrier panel comprises a first substrate, a first electrode layer, a patterning electrode, a second substrate, a second electrode layer, a second patterning electrode and a liquid-crystal layer. Substantially, the first substrate is fully covered by the first electrode layer; the first patterning electrode is positioned over the first electrode layer; the first patterning electrode is electrically insulated with the first electrode layer; and the second substrate is positioned in the opposite direction of the first substrate. Substantially, the second substrate is fully covered by the second electrode layer; the second patterning electrode is positioned over the second electrode layer; the second electrode layer is electrically insulated with the second patterning electrode; the extending direction of the second patterning electrode and the extending direction of the first patterning electrode are staggered substantially; and the liquid-crystal layer is positioned between the first substrate and the second substrate.

Description

【Technical field】 [0001] The present invention relates to a two-dimensional and three-dimensional display and its driving method, and in particular to a display capable of providing a two-dimensional display mode, a portrait stereoscopic display mode and a landscape stereoscopic display mode and its driving method. 【Background technique】 [0002] Current stereoscopic display technologies can be broadly classified into auto-stereoscopic, in which viewers can directly watch with naked eyes, and stereoscopic, in which special-designed glasses are required to watch. The working principle of the naked-eye stereoscopic display is mainly to use a fixed grating to control the images received by the viewer's left and right eyes. According to the visual characteristics of the human eye, when the left and right eyes watch two images with the same image content but with different parallax, the human eyes will observe and interpret the two images as a stereoscopic image. The working pr...
