The method comprises the following steps: a location service network side calculates time length of an operating period of an operating module of the GPS according to the mobile status of a location target terminal; and the location target terminal adjusts operating parameters of the operating module of the GPS according to the time length of the operating period, and controls the operating module to enter a power-saving operating condition. The invention further provides the A-GPS.
